Rest in Peace Santosh.. Miss you a lot

It's tough to update that Santosh is no more with us.... Miss you Santosh.. 

Santosh lost his battle with life on september 28th 2013. 

Thanks a million for all the support from people around the world who wished his good health. Unfortunately, fate didn't favor him.

May his family get all the strength and support to  accept this and move forward.

Need support to continue his dialysis

Santosh's health is gone bad. He is struggling with life. He not even has any money for his dialysis. he is looking for support to extend his life. Guys.. please come forward and help him as much u can.

Santosh, I wish you a tons of birthdays to follow.. just be brave and fight as you are fighting everyday.. I am sure we will be able to get your transplantation done.. Lots of prayers for you..  and for today you just try your best to smile smile and smile.. 

Being diffiult for dialysis and transplantation

Friends, its being difficult for his regular dialysis until he gets his kidney transplanted. We are almost over with all the money we had.. Please come forward and help him to get his dialysis done.
He needs Rs 20000/- a week. Your small contributions will help him survive longer.  Very soon we need to get estimations from the hospital for the Kidney transplantation and for that he has to undergo few tests again which adds up the cost. Please help him. 

Kidney failure after an year of journey..

I never thought I will write such a negative news again on this blog.

Just after an year, when everything is going fine, it's very sad to hear that Santosh's 2 kidneys got failed and doctors confirmed that they are difficult to recover. The only possibility now is a donation of kidney from her sister which we think is highly impossible. He should undergo dialysis thrice a week until it gets transplanted. As of now we are trying to check his mother's compatibility for kidney transplantation. Doctors almost confirmed that its due to excessive use of the medicine Cyclospirine(Reacted negative). I am also trying to provide financial assistance until he gets it transplanted. However, it costs Rs 20,000/- per week so, I request to help him financially.

As told by one of my friends, yes hope is a powerful word. Santosh is now doing fine and its all because of the hope we had and the blessings from God. 

Thanks a lot for all the people who contributed in this journey. 

I wish this inspires many other people who lost their hope in life; if not success, it surely teaches us a beautiful lesson to go forward...

As per Santosh's health status, he is doing good now and we are trying to help him for his eye surgery. Wish  he gets rid of eye problem soon.

Happy to update Santosh is now recovering good and hopefully he will get discharged from CMC in a week.

CMC Vellore, helped him a lot financially and morally which gave him lots of positive energy. Thanks a ton from H2O team and all the people who supported for this cause. 

Wish him a good health.

Update on eye operation:
We will take it forward once he recovers from Aplastic Anemia and of-course seeking help from one of the NGOs.  Hopefully it should also be done if everything goes fine. 

Reports

Here are few reports and bill receipts attached which displays the hospital discharge summary and amount paid.  Apart from your contributions, we also got help from PM relief fund and Ratan TATA fund

for a total for 6 Lakhs. I will try to give more visibility on the bills paid and remaining due in few days.  Now he got discharged from the hospital but he is still in OPD  just to ensure total disease is cured. However, he is still very weak and blood counts are low. Once again thanks for all the support.  

Update 21st May 2012

Health is improving slowly now and I wish  and pray it continues...
By the way its being very difficult for him to travel to hospital twice a day in the hottest place(Vellore) in such a pathetic health condition...

I would like to take an opportunity to thank Sri Shilpa & team for taking the pain and collecting funds to contribute Rs 1,93,195/- which helps in clearing few of his hospital dues(will attach the bills soon). Also thanks to Jayshankar Biswas, Namratha & team for their continuous monitoring and support towards him.

Please pray for him friends. All these efforts should not go waste.

Status as on 17th May 2012

Santosh was discharged from hospital yesterday but asked for daily checkups twice a day through OPD. He need to take 2 injections morning and evening everyday in order to avoid infection. Each injection costs Rs. 2000, so Rs. 4000 a day. He has to continue until the infection minimizes.

Shockingly, he still has to pay 6 Lakh rupees and more as due excluding the current expenses. We are really not sure if this is the reason he had been discharged from hospital. Just praying God for a miracle. 

Ofcourse, his health condition now is better than last week but still he has to gain a lot of immunity. His weight had come down to 34Kgs last week due to continuous stools and infection.
